Sent to a friend I'm in a great new job with lots of liberty and plenty of margin for success (and failure too, of course). By all accounts, until today, I have been given plenty of positive feedback and felt like I fit in well. Then this morning a colleague, who has encouraged me repeatedly to operate however I like, completely went "postal" on my in the heart of cubesville! omg, i was mortified! and naturally miffed. i regret asking him to contain himself and gather his senses for a civil sit down meeting. Instead I semi-defended myself while mostly focusing on keeping it together. it was insane. and unfortunately i am familiar with this type of behavior - characteristic of a scared, threatened male counterpart in a high-tech profession in state government. please God give me wisdom or get me out of cubesville!Rating:0.00
