- You feel betrayed, what he did to you was wrong. He is your father, but he was an ass for the way he treated you like trash. You are not trash & my advice to you is to seek medical help for your future benefits, its clearly wrong what he did & although his dead now, its word against his grave. You don't have to miss out on the good things in life & have to be in misery because of what he did to you. You are in control of your destiny now, you need to speak to someone professional. You may not be able to move on otherwise the way you want. It will always haunt you yes, but there are ways to deal with it & moving on. Good luck.
