Sent to a friend so i've wanted to pierce the top of my ear for the LONGEST time, just because it would look great and well, sometimes you just want to do something. so i got home last night and decided to just do it. i grabbed an earring, cleaned it off and tried to make it go, but it wouldn't. so then i got a needle and just wiped it off and pierced my ear. i showed it off all day but i was afraid it would get infected. now, it is. i have no idea what to do, so i took out the earring, only to look it up and it says not to take it out. but i can't get it back in-it hurts too much. so now im basically wiping my ear with rubbing alcohol and i took an ibuprofen cuz i have no clue what to do and im hoping that against the odds it will just go away. my parents don't know about it and they would be so angry and dissapointed in me if they did. IM SO SCARED!!! what if the infection spreads of something- i dont know what i will do and in regret piercing my ear so much. i feel so guilty and afraid and totally alone.Rating:1.00

- Try antibiotic cream - neosporin or something. You'll probably be just fine, and your parents will probably never know.
- don't worry. as long as u keep the rubbing alcohol 3 times a week. you should be fine. ur body is has a great way of healing urself. i'm proud of u, u did something and went all out for it even if it became a huge mess. PROPS TO YOU! there's a lot worse sins in this world than piercings. cheer up. ur lovely.
- butch up, homie, its just an earring. trust me, i have three and im a dude, your parents sound like they'll be pissed, but no parent in their right mind is gunna kill you over it. and i did all my piercings myself, if you're rubbing it with alchohol, i can almost guarrantee its not gunna get infected. you only see those on people who don't take care of themselves.

- Clean it with peroxide periodically and don't try to pierce it again.

what you do is take a warm cup of water.
and mix in about a tablespoon of sea salt.
MAKE SURE its sea salt.
and then soak it in the solution for 10-15 minutes, 3 times a day. - Go to either a piercing place or your doctor and ask them what to do.
- You'll be fine, just leave it alone. Let it heal, and your parents will never know.

- go to a dr get antibiotics. also get bactine spray, it has the same active ingredient as the stuff they give you to clean new ear piercings plus a pain reliever. and in the future, don't do your own piercings!

- You should probably just tell your parents so they can take you to a doctor. Definitely don't do anything like that again, especially in that area. There are tiny blood vessels that run through the cartilage of your ear. If punctured, you could blead to death. That's why it's best to just leave piercings up to the professionals.
- oh dont worry if it gets infected u go to the hospital get an iv and ull be fine and i doubt itll spread
