Sent to a friend No woman wants to hear the word 'abnormal' from her gyno. It's dreadful & scary. Im scared. After years of careless fun, I finally might've not dodged the bullet. Im so scared that I might have cancer & never be able to bear children.Rating:2.00

- Dont worry, I found out that I have HPV and I will still be able to bare children one day. You just have to have it closely watched every year. Its really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I also have MANY friends who have it. Hope everything works out for you!
- don't be scared! i had an abnormal pap about 5 years ago. i also had chryo.... ever since then, every pap has come back normal! what ever you do, don't be afraid to continue getting it checked.
- I hope everything turns out to be ok with you. One abnormal test result does not gaurantee that you will get cancer. This happens to people sometimes and they end up being fine. Be sure to express to your doctor that you are worried about this. You may also want to ask for the name of a psychologist to talk to. This will help you ease your fears.
- it's possible you just have HPV. it's very common. 1/3 of all women have it. it's actually great that they caught it because they can get rid of it, and then your chances of cervical cancer go way down. my wife had the same thing a few years ago, and we have a beautiful new baby now.
